Year 1

What a busy week we’ve had in Year 1! The children have been using their creativity to design magical creatures and habitats in English, which inspired some fantastic writing. In Maths, we’ve been revisiting counting in multiples of 2, 5 and 10, and the children have worked hard on their number skills.

The highlight of our week was our wonderful trip to Brooklands Museum, which supported our learning in History. The children were amazed by the cars and planes, and the look of wonder on their faces as they stood under Concorde was truly priceless.

They’ve also shown incredible resilience during the annual cross-country run. As we say, the more mud, the more fun!
