Just to give you notice of the first Sketchbook Showcase evening, on Wednesday 12th February, 4:30pm-5:30pm for Year 3 and 4. This will be a brilliant opportunity for parents and children of these years to come and see the beautiful artwork that children have been creating, in a pop up exhibition showcase in the Art room. There will be drinks and refreshments to enjoy too! Parents, please look out for you email invitation next week.

Year 6 have been using their knowledge of facial features, to draw a whole face. We have been discussing proportions. Jasper, Ian, Rayan.

Year 5 have been experimenting with line weight and pointillism to create these excellent butterflies. They have been considering symmetry and design in their work. Ren, Vihaan, William.

Year 4 have sculpted clay tiles, learning new techniques and taking inspiration from trees. Oli, Doh Yeon, Raf, Sophia, Ayshani, Leo.

Year 3 have been inpsired by Maps, using watecolour to create rivers, houses and roads. Ruby, Keeran, Robbie.

Year 2 have been practising drawing buses in preperation for the creation of a collage. Hari, Anaik, Rhys.

Year 1 have been learning to draw and paint cats, which all look wonderful! I'm looking forward to see the final outcome of these. Huxley, Ben, Dylan.

Finally, Reception have been practising their painting skills to creat rockets. Theo, Danny, Mila, Tallulah, William, Eliza.
