CONGRATULATIONS to all involved in our wonderful Spring Concerts yesterday. The vocal and instrumental performances brought such joy to the school community and all children should be immensely proud of themselves for showcasing their hard work this term to such a high standard.  It was particularly incredible that, earlier in the week, Year 4 also managed not one, not two, but three spectacular performances of Pantastic  for the school community and their family and friends. 

We now look ahead to House Music on Thursday 3 April - all children should be consolidating their House Choir song lyrics, rehearsing these songs to help make their House Choir's performance the best it can possibly be!  The competition for first place is very close...

Instrument/LAMDA lessons

This term has seen many children take up a new instrument or LAMDA and feedback so far is 100% positive!  If your child is keen to consider learning an instrument or taking LAMDA at school, please see the Music website for more information (link below) or get in touch with me for a chat about options.

Orchestra

Existing members will continue as part of the ensemble, but we are open to welcoming new players who are approximately Grade 1+ in their instrument.  Pianists can be accommodated on tuned percussion should we have more than two!  All members and new joiners should sign up on SOCS when club applications open.

House Music finalists and reserve finalists should also continue to rehearse their performances for 3 April and URGENTLY confirm any pieces with me which are currently 'tbc' and provide backing tracks if needed.  

ALL CHILDREN MUST WEAR THEIR HOUSE T-SHIRT WITH PE KIT on 3 April for the event. Please be reminded that this is an 'in-house' event and unfortunately parents and friends are unable to attend.
