Willington Prep - Celebrating 140 years - 1885-2025
This week in Year 4, we’ve had an exciting and busy time across all subjects!
In English, we wrote an action-packed newspaper report about the epic battle between Iron Man and the Space Bat Angel Dragon. In Maths, we worked together to solve a challenging maths mystery. For history, we explored the wonders of the ancient Aztecs by creating our very own chocolate bar adverts. In PSHCE, we learned about how we can save our oceans from pollution and make a difference for our planet.
In RE, we’ve been diving into the Easter story, following Jesus from Palm Sunday through to his resurrection on Easter Sunday. Our Games lessons saw us practising rugby and hockey skills, while in Art, we began crafting our very own cardboard mazes. We also learned new verbs in Spanish to help us communicate more effectively.
In Computing, we used our skills to create a newspaper article. On top of all this, we were thrilled to perform our wonderful show, Pantastic, to the school on Monday, and to our parents on Tuesday and Wednesday!
What a fantastic week we’ve had in Year 4!
