WILLINGTON PREP MUSIC DEPARTMENT
SAMI LAMINE BA
LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) / Voice
Sami received his degree from Arts Education in London and continued his training at the Alan Gordon Academy in New York. He has been teaching Willington students since September 2023, achieving outstanding results.
LAMDA (Years 4–6), Express & Impress (Years 1–3), and Singing lessons (Years 1–6) give students the tools to become confident, articulate communicators while providing a fun and creative outlet at school. These sessions build self-expression, confidence, and both critical and creative thinking, while equipping students with tangible skills that support interviews, presentations, and everyday interactions.
Lessons are led by Sami and Naomi, seasoned professional actors and performers who have worked across the UK, Europe, and internationally in West End musicals, operas, TV, and film. With over 10 years’ experience teaching young people, they achieve exceptional results—97% of students achieved distinctions in their LAMDA exams in 2024. Through kindness, patience, and humour, they create a nurturing environment where students develop lasting communication and performance skills that benefit them at school, with peers and teachers, and in the wider community.
