DRUMKIT / ORCHESTRAL PERCUSSION

Elaine is the percussion and drum kit tutor at the Guildhall Young Artists King’s Cross and holds positions in different independent schools. She has been teaching students from ages 5 upwards on both percussion and drum kit and placed pupils through ABRSM, Trinity Rock and Pop and the Rock School exams, she is known for her enthusiastic teaching style. 

As a freelance musician, Elaine has done many contemporary music recordings, live concerts and work as an on-screen musician. Recent engagements include as a soloist at the CBeebies Prom, performing “Words of Peace”, “Richard II” at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre, recording for “Orchestral tools” with Richard Harvey at Air Studios, regular performances with Paraorchestra and recording “If I ain’t got you” by Alicia Keys for Netflix’s Queen Charlotte.
