Orchestra

The Orchestra meets once a week and is conducted by the Director of Music. It is open to pupils playing instruments at approximately Grade 1+ standard and above. The repertoire is extremely varied and has included everything from iconic film music to great classics. The Orchestra performs at assemblies, concerts and school and community events throughout the year.

Students sign up for this club on SOCS at the end of the previous term that they wish to attend the club. It is expected that children who participate in the Orchestra do so for the full academic year, and many continue to participate each and every year that they are at the school.
