BRASS
Elliot is a freelance trumpet player and teacher based in London. Since graduating his Masters with Distinction from the Royal College of Music, Elliot has enjoyed a busy freelance life. This has included working with the Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra among others. Elliot has enjoyed traveling with his work to the likes of China, the Middle East, Russia and extensively in Europe.
Elliot was an Associate Member of the London Philharmonic Orchestra Foyle Future Firsts Scheme and also enjoyed spending two years holding the trumpet seat on Encuentro de Santander in Spain. He was Principal Trumpet of the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra for a year during his time at the Royal College of Music.
Elliot is also a trumpet teacher at the Royal Grammar School Guildford where he directs their Brass Ensemble. On top of this he works for two Alpha Plus Group Schools. Elliot has enjoyed delivering brass workshops in Primary Schools within the borough of Wandsworth through their Music Service and teaches at their Saturday Music Academy.
Aside from orchestral playing, Elliot is busy with commercial work and enjoys playing for a band that tours around the UK & European festivals during the Summer months.
