Hello parents! My name is Sonjia Sutterfield and I am part of the second grade team here at West Side Elementary. I grew up in Fox, but have lived in Greers Ferry for 11 years.
I graduated from Rural Special High School in 2001, from the University of Central Arkansas in 2006 and 2015, earning two degrees in Mass Communication and Elementary Education.
I have two amazing children, Cohen and Marley. Their wonderful father and I have been together for almost 12 years. When we are not working our regular jobs we are at home working on our cattle farm. We love to go out on the lake, camping, floating, fishing, riding, basically any outdoor activity.
I have taught second grade for six years, and I love it! I am very passionate about helping students succeed and creating relationships with each child. I love watching them grow and learn. I am very thankful for the opportunity to teach your children!
