ELA

  • During the last trimester, we will be focusing in on opinion writing. We are making sure to support our opinion with strong reasons and examples. In class we have written together on the topic of dogs vs. cats. Students had the opportunity to write on the topic: Should 3rd graders have cell phones? Ask your child what their opinion is!
  • We have also been learning about poetry in class, which has been perfect for April - poetry month! Students have been enjoying Shel Silverstein poems and we are reading aloud "Love That Dog".
