According to the study by Gao et. Al, treatment with S-4 over an 8-week course showed that there was a significant increase in bone mineral density in castrated male rats.
In a study conducted by Kearbey et. Al, female Sprague-Dawley rats were treated to see the effects of the SARM on the accelerated bone loss caused by ovariectomy. Additionally, the study conducted by Kearbey et Al. came to the overall conclusion that S-4 treatment has positive effects on skeletal muscle and bones.
