KES Ski/Ride Program

KES students participate in a ski/ride program, called Trailblazers, throughout the winter months. On Thursday mornings, with skis and snowboards lined up in the front entryway, everyone can sense the anticipation felt by all youngsters as they eagerly wait until after lunch when the bus will take them up the road to the base of Killington. The program continues each year thanks to a group of highly dedicated parent and community volunteers who attend training sessions each year so they may be the student's ski and snowboard coaches.

Adult volunteers both on and off the mountain are an essential component to this wonderful school-wide program.
