PEAKS is a non-profit volunteer parent and community group that supports the school. The name stands for Parents and Educators Aligned for Killington Students.
Please join the monthly meeting as advertised in the newsletters, remotely via Zoom. You can contact Kim Harris at kimjharris@hotmail.com for more information and the Zoom mtg link. We have fun supporting the school and would love your help! When we are able to meet in person again, coffee and pastries are served at the meetings and all are welcome!
The parents, volunteers, and community members of the Killington Elementary School's mission is to help support the students, teachers, and parents of the school by developing and implementing activities that build community and enrich the learning environment. We will also provide support to the school staff and facilitate communication between the school and the families.

Price Chopper - "Tools for Schools"
Register your Price Chopper Advantage card at KES or at any Price Chopper Service Desk. The KES school code is 15362. Registration is ONE time not once each school year and ANYONE can register so please encourage family and friends throughout CT, MA, NH, NY, PA and VT to register. There is no reduction in your gas savings by registering. Program runs through the end of March.
Hannafords - "Help Schools, Help Kids"
The Rutland Hannafords grocery store will donate money for every 4 products purchased with the "Hannafords Helps School" logo. A certificate will be printed out with your register receipt. Please place the certificate (or your register receipt) in the Killington Elementary School slot on the collection tower. ANYONE can drop into the Killington slot so please encourage your family, friends and neighbors to support us by placing their receipts in the slot too. This program only runs through December.
Box Tops for Education
We collect "Box Tops for Education" (BTE) coupons and exchange them for money to purchase products for the school. Many products including food items, paper goods, office supplies and apparel have small BTE coupons on them. Before you throw away boxes or packing, please look for, clip and save the BTE coupon. Collection boxes are located at the Killington Elementary School (on the table across from Mrs. Guggenberger's office) and at the Sherburne Memorial Library (near the front door on the checkout desk). Please do not put your BTE couples in the box located at Hannafords since that collection box does not go to KES.
