An exciting opportunity to participate in a discussion about the Wayne Township Public Schools is just a few days away. On February 2nd, the Wayne Township Public Schools will launch our first ever Thoughtexchange. This event will allow for a community-wide discussion about the Wayne Township Public Schools. Similar to many social media platforms, Thoughtexchange makes it possible to consider and share different points of view in a private and convenient manner.
The information will be used by the Board of Education to develop goals for the district as part of a strategic plan. Be on the lookout for additional information on how to participate.

It’s all about “hands on learning” in Packanack Elementary School's 5th Grade this year. Dr. Holgersen’s 5th grade science class began a hydroponics lesson with discussions on different ways to grow plants. One way was growing them indoors using Packanack's own Aeroponic Garden. Mrs. Mango is Packanack’s parent volunteer who manages and dedicates her time to the outside “Edible Garden” and their Aeroponics Garden. She visited the 5th grade classes during science class and introduced how the Aeroponic Garden works. The “Tower Garden” or Aeroponics garden is an indoor garden house that grows vegetables for several months prior to transferring them outdoors. Eventually these plants will be placed outside in the Packanack Garden.
