Wayne School's Foodservices is offering two weekly meal packs for virtual learning students due to the extended Memorial Day weekend break.

Anyone that has not already signed up for the weekly meal packs already and would like to can order through the virtual cohort icon on the Wayne Schools Weekly Meal Preorder Site @ https://sites.google.com/wayneschools.com/lunchforms/home The site opens each week on Wednesday at 5pm and closes on Sunday at 4pm for the upcoming week.

Anyone who orders the Memorial Day Break meal packs has to pick them up on Monday 5/24/21 for one week and again on Wednesday 5/26/21 the second week. This is required by the state as part of the Free Meal program being offered.

Passaic County School Counselors Association Honorable Citizen Award
Passaic County School Counselors Association Honorable Citizen Award
On behalf of Mr. Leonard, Mr. Smilon, Mrs. Molina and the teachers and staff, George Washington Middle Schools congratulates Ali Atif for being a recipient of the Passaic County School Counselors Association (PCSCA) Honorable Student Award. The PCSCA has also awarded Ali with a $25 Target Gift Card.

Leaders of the Month at Ryerson
Leaders of the Month at Ryerson
Ryerson Elementary School has been featuring leaders of the month in each of their classrooms. Students are nominated by their fellow classmates, and they are celebrated through a virtual assembly each month. At the assembly, all of the leaders for that month have the opportunity to create a video about how they feel to have been selected. The videos highlight how they help to make our school a better place. Ryerson is so proud of our leaders, and they believe that every single one of the students has an important voice. Everyone should have the opportunity to be heard and shine!

Memorial Day Weekend Update
The Board of Education adopted a calendar for the 2020-2021 school year, which incorporates four emergency days in the schedule. To date, we have used two of those days. As a result, we will have an expanded Memorial Day break.
Please be advised that if we have no additional emergency school closings prior to May 28th, school will be closed on Friday, May 28th and Tuesday, June 1st , as well as the scheduled Memorial Day, which is on Monday, May 31st.
School will resume on Wednesday, June 2nd.
