Well done to Hedgehogs wo had an amazing 99.4% attendance over the week.
Woodpeckers came in 2nd place with 95% and following shortly behind were Otters on 94.7%.
Hopefully we can keep up the great attendance. Remember that with coughs and colds, it is fine to still come to school. With a fever you need to stay at home unless it has passed and with vomiting or diarrhoea, children stay away from school for 48 hours after their last episode.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Harvest collection. We had a great assembly on Friday with every class sharing a song that they have been practising alongside some of our whole school favourites.
The Food Bank aren't collecting until Thursday so there is still some time if you want to contribute.
This month, we will be marking Black History Month when we learn more about extraordinary people who overcame discrimation to fight for equal rights or had their achievements overlooked because of the colour of their skin. On Friday, we are having a special enrichment day when children will spend the day learning more about a significant person from black history and the struggle they had to overcome.
On Tuesday, we have the Reverend Rachel from the Priory Church coming to visit Grasshoppers to talk about Baptism.
Unfortunately we don't have a clip for showing the sign for 'Less'.
Use your two hands, palms facing and move them down and together to decrease the gap between them. It should create a funnel-like shape as it tapers down.
