IMPACT

According to Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework (Ofsted, 2019), the school curriculum is defined according to its:

Intent

► Implementation

► Impact

'Impact' is defined as whether learners:

  • "[have] develop[ed] detailed knowledge and skills across the curriculum and, as a result, achieve[d] well. Where relevant, this is reflected in results from national tests and examinations that meet government expectations, or in the qualifications obtained "

  • "are ready for the next stage of education, employment or training. Where relevant, they [have] gain[ed] qualifications that allow them to go on to destinations that meet their interests, aspirations and the intention of their course of study. They read widely and often, with fluency and comprehension."

ASSESSMENT POLICY

Our Assessment Policy aims to:

      • Provide clear guidelines on our approach to formative, summative and discussive assessment;

      • Establish a consistent and coherent approach to recording summative assessment outcomes and reporting to parents; and

      • Clearly set out how and when assessment practice will be monitored and evaluated
