In this unit, I learned about the 7 principles as well as the 7 elements of art. I've also learned about natural resources. We additionally went over about T.O.D.A.L.S, the 6 things that should be included in a choropleth map. T stands for title, O stands for orientation, D stands for date, A stands for author, L stands for legend, and S stands for scale. A choropleth map is a map with colors that have different values; it can help us indicate the average values of a particular quantity in those areas. It can be used to identify populations, productions, and income. For my choropleth map, it to find the production of Minerals, crops, and fossil fuels. I place them based on the geological environment, like Minerals are mostly found in the middle area of my country.
Process
In this section, I firstly sketched my draft one, it was kinda funny, chicken-shaped, and compared to draft two, the quality is not as good as it. I changed my country shape a bit to make it more logical in draft two, and also applied T.O.D.A.L.S on it. I also tried to make my coloring better, but my coloring only improved a bit, but atleast I tried.

Reflection
In this project, I think I did pretty well, but I still have something to improve. I shouldn't rush my work; I should complete it carefully, but to be honest, I'm impressed by myself. I will give myself an 8/10. I didn't color well on my project, and I also messed up on tracing with a black marker. I didn't color perfectly, I got some ugly white dots, and I traced out badly, like I didn't follow my previous line, just creating a new one. This project taught me a lot in geography and art. I've learned the 7 principles of art, and the 7 elements of art, and in geography, I've learned about types of resources, natural resources, and also scaling.
MINI PROJECT 2
AESTHETIC EXPRESSION OF A COMMUNITY
When I look back at my work, I notice that I can improve my appearance and be more careful with glue, so I don't smear it all over my project and make it ugly. I also want to improve my use of materials. I put materials there because I want to; I should make decisions more wisely. For example, I put a lid on my house because I want to; I should think more carefully through the process. Lastly, I want to improve the quality of my building. I don't get enough time to craft the wrap for all my buildings, and the only building I got wrapping with still looks worse than what I expected. One area where I can grow in my work habits is taking the work more care and spend more time with my projects instead of just trying to get them done in time. When we built the buildings, I sometimes rushed and make mistakes accidentally. To improve this, I can start by gathering my ideas before I begin, so I’m clear about where each material should go and why I’m using it. Also while I 'm working on the project, I can check my plan and see if I'm doing it accurately.
One piece of feedback I received during the project was that my friend advised me to use an invisible material like plastic to build up for my window. I think this advice makes sense, so I applied it to my mall; this is one feature I'm proud of.
When I was building my buildings, I went through all the creative process, but the 3 main processes I want to talk about were preparation, insight, and evaluation. In the preparation stage, I gathered my ideas and thoughts and materials, such as chip boxes and cardboards, and planned what my house should look like. And the insight stage happens when I discovered some better ways to use my materials, for example, my friend suggested me to use plastic to build my window, which made my window more realistic and professional, so I decided to add this feature. In the elaboration, I look carefully at my completed work and notice that something I can improve, such as being more careful with glue, wrapping my buildings more neatly, and making wiser choices on where to place the materials. These 3 steps guide me through the project and help me make my building cooler.

In this project, we are combining our buildings into a community with our buildings built in the last unit. Our group created a community by working together, and we used positive and negative space compositional skills. We arranged different buildings and spaces carefully to show houses, shops, and other buildings. The positive spaces show the buildings and objects, while the negative spaces help us define the empty areas, like the street and open spaces. When all of the groups are completed, we put them in front of the class and combine some boxes to create a bigger community

Sustainable City Poster
In this poster, we first distribute the work in our group. We made this poster by first researching what makes a city sustainable and looking for real examples from our selected country. We use sources to gather information about how cities reduce the pollution, improve the transformation and create a healthier living spaces. After this, we shared ideas and distrobuted the tasks and worked together on writing it and designing the poster.
One thing that went well was our teamwork because everyone contributed and cooperated during this activity. We are able to combine the ideas and create a poster that shows our understanding of our selected cities. We can still improve our time management. This poster inspired me for the next project because it helped me see the sustainable city in real life.

Exibition Reflection
The scake model brings our city planning ideas to life. It turns our abstract concept like zones and forest to physical map. Every buildings and roads are carefully placed to show how our city looks like. Our installation art is also functional and placed on our maps, it's designed to solve problems in our community.
The presentation is designed to highlight the main aspects of our project, including the design, process, and the showcase to our model. We used pictures to enhance the understanding and engaged the audience by asking them questions for our interactive activity. The feedbacks we received indicated that our clarity and enthusiasm is effectively communicated in our message.
Reflection
Making the model was extremely challenging but also rewarding because it taught me about flexibility and the how important collaboration is in refining ideas. Preparation for the Exhibition is crucially important for our success. By practicing, we learned how to deliver our text confidently and the audience's feedbacks emphasized how effective our project is. Teamwork was also essential, in our group, we contribute with our own strength. We learned to communicate openly and resolve differences between teammates.
Content for Rubric
I improved my design sketches based on the feedbacks I received. I enhaced the detail in my GSP. This project taught me time management and prioritzation, and also skills that will benefit me in the future. After our presentation, the feedback led us to refined our slides and communication, it resulted a stronger final presentation form. The requirement of installation art and all other topics about art we learned in class was a strong guide and taught me about how art benefit the community and change the way I feel about art. Now, I knew art isn't just for beauty, it can also solve a problem. I had a peer review to my reflections, and one piece of feedback I received was telling me to make sure I fix all grammar mistakes I could find, not just leave them there, because it's my grade.
