For me, math is one of my favorite subjects. I feel confident and excited about learning this semester. I always try to work efficiently and do my best on every assignment.
In project 1 , we are working in teams to make a list of tips to help students learn better This is important because instead of wasting time, we can use this list to learn more effectively. Our main question is: "How can we use data to find the most effective way to learn?"

My Reflection
In this test, I did better than I expected, even though I felt very nervous. I accidentally forgot how to calculate mean and median, so I skipped those questions. I also ran out of time and couldn’t complete everything. If the test is in Chinese, I think I could have scored higher because I understand the language better. If I had more time, I can checked my answers carefully. I’ve learned that even small mistakes can affect your score, so it’s important to double-check your work. By the end of the semester, I hope to be ready for Grade 8 math. I want to focus more in class and participate actively. I’ll work better during tests and review my answer I’m unsure about, like mean and median, so I don’t get stuck next time.
In today's quiz, I think I tried my best. I reviewed my answer and found 1 mistake, so I think I did it very carefully and pretty well.I think the difficulty of the quiz is a bit too easy; I think I can get a good score even though I didn't practice a lot. I think I don't actually need to prepare every day if the test is still easy like this, I think I only need to prepare for like 2 times per week. I didn't prepare for this test, because I'm mainly focused on my English homework this week.I think this test is easy, so I don't wish to prepare for this test. I think I will prepare for the topic I'm struggling in future's tests.
I understand the steps of creating study guide. We've now completed chapter 1 of the study guide. Our progress might be a bit slower than others because one of our teammates is absent for a long period. By the way we still have to complete chapter 2, and 3. I felt lazy and anxious, I think we should have more time on class to do the study guide, we can discuss with group members, also some people won't do the study guide when they're back home, so giving more time is better for us to complete study guide efficiently. I think for now my teammates is pretty good, but we kindda need more time. The difference between concept and definition is definition is just simplify the concept and only telling the main point, but concept is to vocationally explain what is this. i want to make a board game that's similar to monopoly.
I think I did very well on this quiz. In general, I think Math has been more interesting as we started to make the board game. I think the difficulty for the quiz is good, not too easy and also not too hard, I think the currently difficulty was good enough. In fact, I didn't prepare about the quiz, but when I look at the questions I felt prepared to the quiz. I think I did better as what I expect, I performed very well on the test. I think I still need to practice chapter 1 and 2 and. I think doing the project didn't really helped on me in quiz but somehow making the project did some small changes on me.
For this project, I'm incredibly impressed by our result. I think I didn't learn much by writing the explanations because it's too much, but I still learned something useful. In the begining of the class, our team cannot work well together, but after few periods, we can collaborate easily. In the first few week, I always complete the study guide by myself but after that, they tried to assist me and we complete the work on time. Working alone feels very boring, I almost can't handle it, but I communicate with my teammate and this problem is fixed. When we met a disagreement, we first listen to all our teammate, and then we will try to convince people for the better statement. When we felt tired, we will talk to teammate and ask for help, when we are asked we will help the teammate to complete the work so that teammate will feel motivated. I think all the instruction are clear, no big problem. I think I didn't make big mistakes on project 1, but I'll still double check for small mistakes. I think in this project, I didn't use my time well, because I'm too lazy to work, I only work before eating my dinner so the progress might be delay. I think we should have more time on the canva book. This project is kindda good for math class but a bit too much of work, we should change the project to more small projects.
The first emotion I had when I saw the muti-step question is challenged, I felt that I'm challenged, I'm a bit excited and worried that I can't complete on time. From the start of the quick equation to now, I think the current logic problem solving is much harder because there's some academical words that I don't understand. I think the class practice is fun, not tiring so I don't need any special methods to keep my energy. In my opinion, looking the story behind the question takes time, but also make the question easier to do, and adding fun to it. I'm most mistaked on logical part because my English understanding is not as good as Chinese, it tells me to study more on vocabulary understanding, I need to practice the volcabulary that's often seen on Math. When I met a hard question that I can't answer in the final exam, I will re-read the question and see if it's drawable, and list the known numbers to clarify my steps.
