In this exercise, I improved the skill of hand-and-eye coordination by looking at my own hand as I traced it on paper with the help of a pencil or pen. I also tried to trace the formation of my hand by understanding what I saw with the help of my eyes instead of understanding what a hand looks like as I observed. In this exercise, I learned to concentrate my attention to observe the subject I am dealing with by drawing lines accordingly and also to give ample time to make a proper drawing of an image. The necessity to concentrate my observation not on the paper but on the actual subject to make a drawing out of the details made this exercise beneficial to produce a real output. The skill for drawing an image helped me to make an understanding that with practice and concentration on the artwork, the artwork can be made perfect.
