My name is Mariya. I'm the founder and psychologist of YeSense Community Interest Company, based in London. Originally from Ukraine, I bring a unique blend of expertise as a psychologist, artist, designer, and traveller, dedicated to promoting emotional well-being through innovative therapeutic practices.
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology at the International University "Ukraine." My professional qualifications include courses in art therapy from Dragomanov University and the International Centre "Osvita," an NLP Practitioner certification from the SoftLines Training Centre (Ukraine), and NCFE CACHE Level 2 in Counselling Skills (UK). I am also a proud member of the British Association of Art Therapists.
I am the inventor of patented fluorescent art therapy, a groundbreaking method with no equivalents worldwide. I have developed transformative tools such as the Metaphoric Associative Cards (MAC) series "Doors."
My professional portfolio spans over 15 years of successfully conducting art and music therapy sessions across more than five countries. Highlights of my UK career include:
Leading a series of art sessions for well-being at Kensington Palace.
Facilitating art healing sessions for over 60 refugees with the support of Camden Council.
Conducting well-being art workshops at Portobello Market, Marley College and for children at Cavendish School, in my center.
Hosting music and art-based emotional discovery sessions at The Tabernacle.
Organising an intensive art healing workshop in Tolentino, (Italy) for members of the Carabinieri Association, which received notable press coverage.
As an artist, my works have been exhibited in London at The Other Art Fair by Saatchi, Parallax Art Fair, and other exhibitions. My art has been published in the magazine Culture, and I have shared my expertise in an interview with the BBC.
Beyond my professional accomplishments, I have travelled to more than 30 countries, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and I am an active member of the tourist hiking club "Universitet." Additionally, I perform with the Ukrainian Choir at the Royal Opera House in London.
My passion lies at the intersection of art and psychology. I am deeply inspired by the symbolic world’s delicate intricacy, which holds an extraordinary power to shape and heal our inner lives. Through my work, I strive to help others explore and nurture their emotional resilience while fostering creativity and self-discovery.
