In partnership with Ramblers and Camden Council, Yesense CIC runs creative walks across different parts of Camden

These walks bring together gentle outdoor movement, local discovery and creative wellbeing. We walk through parks, streets, quiet corners, familiar places and hidden spaces, then continue with a creative session where people can reflect, connect and express themselves in a calm and supportive environment

You do not need to be an artist. You do not need to be very fit. You do not need to know anyone before you come

The idea is simple: we walk, we notice, we breathe, we talk if we want to, and then we use creativity to process what we have seen, felt and experienced

Being outside can change the way we feel. A short walk can clear the mind, soften stress and help us return to the body. Creativity can then give shape to thoughts and emotions that are sometimes hard to explain with words

Our creative walks are especially for people who would like to feel more connected to themselves, to others and to the place where they live. Camden is full of stories, textures, colours and unexpected beauty. Sometimes we just need to slow down enough to see it

Each walk is different. Some are peaceful and reflective. Some are more social. Some lead into drawing, collage, writing, mindful observation or other creative activities. The atmosphere is friendly, gentle and welcoming

You are welcome to join the walk, the creative session, or both. Come as you are, wear comfortable shoes and bring your curiosity with you

The walking leader and session facilitator is Mariia Bezusa, founder of Yesense CIC, psychologist, artist and creative facilitator. Mariia is a passionate lover of walks, curious places and the small stories hidden in London’s streets, parks and neighbourhoods. She enjoys exploring how walking, creativity and a bit of human curiosity can help us slow down, notice more and feel a little more connected to ourselves and the city around us.
