Fabric modelling is a hands-on creative practice that supports emotional wellbeing by helping people move from a stuck, heavy state into a more grounded, resourced one. By shaping fabric into a metaphorical image, a person can “see” their situation differently, activate imagination and creative thinking, and open an inner dialogue with their creative self. As feelings take visual form, awareness grows — people start to understand their emotions and the motives behind their actions more clearly, and they’re more able to find their own way through difficult situations.
