Below are lots of ideas for Easter crafts and activities.

(There are also some RE Easter crafts and activities on the RE page.)

You might not have everything you need for all of the activities but you don't have to do them all! Have a go at the ones you can do or use them as inspiration for your own activity and craft ideas. (There's always more than one way to do something so get creative and use your imagination!)

Some of the activities can be done on your own but you may need an adult to help you with others. Make sure you ask permission when you need to!

Creative curriculum

No-Sew Sock Bunnies!
Click on the picture above. It will take you to a Youtube tutorial for no-sew sock bunnies. A perfect craft for Easter! All you need is an old sock, some rice, scissors, some thread or string and a pen!
MAKE SURE YOU ASK PERMISSION FOR THIS ONE! (Don't go cutting up your best socks!)

Salt dough Easter eggs.
Click the picture for a Youtube tutorial to help you make salt dough Easter Eggs.
The measurements in the video are in American weights and temperatures but you can google the conversions.
The lady uses an egg shaped cutter but you could just use a butter knife.
ADULT SUPERVISION NEEDED.
This involves using an oven so you will need a adult to help you.

Pebble egg craft
This one is simple. Collect some pebbles and use paint or nail varnish to decorate them in an Easter theme. Make sure you get permission before going pebble hunting! If you cant find pebbles you could simply paint your own pictures . If you have no paints keep scrolling for other Easter drawing ideas!

EASTER Acrostic poem
We've written lots of acrostic poems before in school so you should know what to do on this one. You could start by writing down all the words relating to Easter that you can think of. Then, you can print a template from Twinkl (Click the picture and use the code UKTWINKLHELPS to set up a free account) or if you can't print, draw and write your own!

Easter themed drawing
Click on the picture above. It will send you to the Youtube channel 'Art for kids hub' they have tons of amazing drawing tutorials. (Remember the poppy drawings we did in November?) This link will take you directly to all of the Easter themed drawings.

Easter cards
Here's where you can get really creative! Clicking on the picture above will take you to a Pinterest page with some Easter card ideas. Use this as your inspiration to create whatever card you like! Why not make a few to give to different family members. Make them as simple or as grand as you'd like. The important part is that they come from you!

EASTER Magic painting

Clicking on the picture above will take you to a Youtube tutorial for how to create wax resist pictures. The video is not of Easter pictures but you can draw whatever you like with this technique. All you need is a wax crayon (white is best) and some watery paint!

EASTER Potato Printing

ADULT SUPERVISION NEEDED!
Sharp knives are used for cutting so you need an adult to help you with this one.

EASTER Lego Challenge
Here's a STEAM challenge for you! If you have Lego at home try to use the pieces to create a 2D or 3D Easter egg. (You don't just have to do an egg, think of anything Easter related and get creative!)
If you don't have Lego at home, expand the challenge and see how many Easter eggs you can make from different things around the home. (Take pictures if you can!)

EASTER Word searches
Click the picture and use the code UKTWINKLHELPS to set up a free account on Twinkl. Then you can search for Easter themed word searches to print and complete! If you can't print why not try creating your own word search and challenge a family member. Make sure to check those spellings!

EASTER colouring
Click the picture and use the code UKTWINKLHELPS to set up a free account on Twinkl. Then you can search for Easter themed colouring to print and complete! If you can't print why not try creating your own Easter drawings. You could leave them blank for a family member to colour or do them yourself!

Easter egg hunt
Why not set up an Easter egg hunt at home for your family! Hide Easter egg pictures all around your house and garden (don't tell anyone where they are!) Draw a map of the house and mark on where you hid them as you go - so you don't forget! Begin the hunt and whoever finds the most egg pictures could win a prize.
Talk to your family about this one, adults will be a big help!

Thumb Print Easter Characters
This one is as easy as it looks. Use paints or inks to make thumb and finger prints on paper then add details with a pen or pencil. If you click the picture it will take you to a Youtube video to help. The lady in the video uses water colour paints but you don't have to! Any paint will do, or if you don't have paint colour circles with pens or crayons. Remember there's always more than one way to do something!)

Easter Chocolate Nests

These are super simple but you might need an adult to help you melt the chocolate.
All you need is some cereal, some milk chocolate, cupcake cases and some mini eggs or similar to decorate.
1. First, pour the cereal into a large bowl. (This could be corn flakes, rice crispies or shredded wheat. )

2. Then, melt the milk chocolate. (Either in the microwave for 20 seconds at a time, stirring in between or on the stove top - an adult will need to help you.)

3. Next, pour the melted chocolate over the cereal and stir until it is all completely covered. (Be patient, this may take a while.)

4. After that, spoon some of the mixture into each cupcake case and top with some mini eggs.

5. Finally, put the nests into the fridge until they are completely cool and hard.

6. Enjoy!
