WELCOME
Welcome to the Apple Butter Hill Family Place. ABH is a Christ-centered place for families to study and learn about God's love and to read His Word together.
St Paul's Sunday School Program will be held on site the 2nd Sunday of each month. Lessons and activities are posted here each month.
The Children's sermon is on the 3rd Sunday at 10:30AM. We encourage our youth and children to help with the activities for the worship service. We are decorating the church with the children's prayer chains! We encourage our children and youth to be active participants in the life of our congregation.
APPLE BUTTER HILL MISSION TEAM: The St. Paul's Sunday School Children's Mission Team is open to everyone. Our Mission is to carry out God's plan to love and bless the world. We share God's good news. We use our gifts of the Spirit-love, kindness, goodness and joy to help others learn about God's love for them. Each month the Mission Team will have a new assignment in the activity area below.
Love, Kindness, Goodness and Joy are gifts that are given to us by the Holy Spirit. We are called to use these gifts through good works to serve others. In serving others, we serve God.

Hello Mission Team!
Love isn’t love until you give it away.
Pray this little prayer with your family each day this month.
God, give me eyes that I may see
The treasures You have given me.
And give me ears that I may hear
The words of faith that keep You near.
Lord, give me strength when I am weak.
And may Thy goals be those I seek.
Grant me courage when I’m alone
And when I face some great unknown.
Send me a friend when I’m in need,
And let me do a noble deed
That others, too, might somehow see
The One who lives and works through me.
As a family gather items around your home that represent joy and happiness. Does your list include money? New toys? Vacations? New clothes? Warm coats? A Bible? A cross?
· For each item that you gather talk with your family about why it makes you happy.
· How long did the item make you happy? A week, a month? A day?
· Joy comes from God and His love for us. Which items on your list give you joy?
· What gifts does God give to us?
When we choose to follow God’s way, we have joy in our hearts. We know God loved us so much that He sent Jesus. This is the greatest gift we can receive every single day, not just at Christmas.
Our Fruit of the Spirit-JOY is showing love through our words, caring and actions.
Be an Angel to someone this month.
The angel brought joy to the shepherds. You can bring joy to others just by saying kind things or through small acts of goodness today. When you say kind things to others, or do nice things for others YOU show God’s love. You are AMAZING! You are an ANGEL! God loves you, love one another.
· Tell someone “You are a joy to be with because you are (kind, generous, cheerful, caring..)
· Thank someone for being joyful even if they were having a bad day.
· Tell some about God’s gift of joy to us- Jesus.
· Surprise someone with a gift or do something nice for someone that they did not expect.
· Send three Christmas cards to friends, neighbors or classmates with a note “Jesus Loves You” and invite each of them to each send three cards to other people that include a note “Jesus Loves You”. Watch the joy multiply this Christmas.
· Be contagious! Show your joy to everyone because you know God loves you and you are AMAZING!
· Smile! It’s contagious.
