PRAYER:

Gracious Lord, Open our hearts to share the love of your Son, Jesus the Christ this Epiphany season. Help St. Paul's to be a beacon of light for those who are lonely, a place of comfort for those who mourn, a light of hope for those who are hopeless. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Gracious and Merciful Father, we pray for the people of Ukraine that they may find refuge in your grace. We pray for those that persecute them that you may look upon them with mercy. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen

Heavenly Father, we pray for all families who have experienced loss of loved ones through crime and violence. Grant them hope in the midst of helplessness as they struggle to understand the tragedy. Help them to see in the darkness of this moment the hope given to the them through the life death and resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ Amen.

Loving God, we pray for those in need in our own community. Open our hearts to respond to the needs in our community for food, shelter and spiritual nourishment. Help us to reach out with words of compassion. Make us good stewards of the abundant gifts that you have given us that we may share those gifts with others through the opportunities that you make known to us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
