Present on: Common on all three continents.
Magic use: None.
Size range: Between 4 feet and 7 feet typically. Extremely large species, such as bears, elephants, and moose, may reach a little over 7 feet.
Anthropomorphs, much as the name suggests, are anthropomorphic versions of real-life animals. They are typically mammalian, reptilian, or avian species, though others may occur. Unlike Mythicals, they have a plantigrade stance, and they may have unnatural coat colors or small mutations such as double tails, small horns, or traits that belong to another animal. Within their height range, smaller animals tend to be in the lower end and larger species tend to be on the taller end, with only the largest reaching above 7 feet. Anthropomorphs lack any magical ability, even with learning, but among magic-wielding societies they tend to focus on blending others' magic with their own technology, or on the Middle Continent, utilize magic crystals in their work. Cross-race (species) breeding results in hybrids only when the original animals could form a hybrid, and otherwise offspring will be one of either parent's. For example, a horse and a donkey Anthropomorph couple could have a mule child, but a dog and a cat couple would have either a dog or a cat child.
Such an incredibly common species has a wide range of personalities. As previously mentioned, they find other ways to make up for their lack of magic use, such as studying technology or fighting skills.
