Jerusalem, trampled by the nations for a set time

We read in the New Testament, from the lips of the Word Himself, that the Law and all the prophets prophesied until John:

(13)  For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. (Matthew 11:13 EMTV)

So, we ought to understand from Matthew 11:13 that the Law and all the Prophets were fulfilled with the appearance and death of John the Baptist, to give way to new revelations or prophecies. In terms of prophecy, the book of Revelation (Apocalypse) bridges from where the Scriptures had stopped.

However, notwithstanding the declaration of Jesus on prophetic timeline, the 2,300 evenings and mornings prophecy of the book of Daniel was alluded to by Jesus in Luke 21:24 (LITV)

(24)  And they will fall by the mouth of the sword and will be led captive to all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trodden down by nations, until the times of the nations are fulfilled.

As we may see, Jesus spoke of Jerusalem being trodden down just as Daniel spoke of the sanctuary to be trodden down. Jesus spoke of the times of the nations doing the trampling of Jerusalem and Daniel spoke of 2,300 evenings and mornings that it will take before the sanctuary can be cleansed.

The 2,300 evenings and nights vision, unlike the other visions, was sealed for many days, as we read in Daniel 8:26 KJ3

(26)  And the morning and evening vision that was told is true. But you shall shut up the vision, for it shall be for many days.

Because Jesus prophesied the trampling of Jerusalem still in the future, even though Jerusalem was occupied by the Romans, we must understand the prophecy to have started with the fall of Jerusalem, with the massacre and the captivity of the Jews prophesied in Luke 21:24 and their dispersion in the diaspora.

Those who saw a fulfillment of Daniel 8:14 before the advent of Jesus are clearly in error.

Obviously, the 2,300 evenings and mornings cannot be literal days when Gentiles will trample Jerusalem. Over the course of history, Jerusalem has experienced a lot of trampling. If the year 70 AD can be the date when the prophecy of Daniel 8:14 got in motion, the 2,300 evenings and mornings will end in the year 2370. I wrote this last sentence in 2018. I am speculating that those who live in the year 2370 should witness great things concerning Jerusalem. They can also judge whether the destruction of Jerusalem took place exactly in 70 AD.
