Firescales: An excess of fire within the dragon, resulting in burning scales. Its severity varies from dragon to dragon, with some melting metals to just scorching dry plants. The strongest firescales come from twin eggs where one dragonet develops more fire than the other. More severe cases are marked by the dragon's blue eyes and copper scales.
Not compatible with Blue Fire
Feathered Wings: Affected dragons have the bony part of their wings covered in feathers. This does not really hinder or help them in any way.
Blue Fire: Blue fire is caused by excessive external heat around an unhatched egg for prolonged periods, resulting in the dragon developing extremely scorching blue fire and blue-tinged scales. These dragons also radiate some warmth similarly to SandWings. Depending on the severity, dragons may also have purple-tinted to purple scales.

Extra Fur: Fur grows along the spine, jawline, elbows, ankles, and tip of the tail, similar to that of an eastern dragon. In some cases, the dragon has long whiskers too.
Phoenix Tail: Long, wispy feathers grow from the base of their tail and extend past the tail’s length, much like a phoenix.
Emberscales: Instead of falling off normally, dying scales/scale cells shrivel up and burn off the body like embers. The embers are typically harmless. This can give dragons a bright, sparkly glow around them.
Secondary Wings: An extra, smaller pair of wings grow along the back of each arm and leg. (Similar to spiral dragons in flight rising). This also improves flying, making them faster and giving them better stamina and tighter control.
Smokescales: Scales of affected dragons are in shades of grey instead of normal SkyWing colors. They light up to bright orange when the SkyWing is using fire, but if the SkyWing has bluefire, the scales will light up to bright blue. Some dragons say that these scales smell like smoke. This will most likely happen if the SkyWing has close ancestry with a firescales SkyWing.
Not compatible with Firescales
Fins: Similar to Night Furies from HTTYD, instead of being ‘wings’ the affected dragon has fins along the tail to boost flight.
Sickle Claws: SkyWings with this mutation have an extra-large claw on each foot that is held aloft, much like a dinosaur.
Goat pupils: This gives the affected SkyWing rectangular pupils, like that of a goat.
Gemscales: The scales of SkyWings take on the appearance and texture of various gemstones; similar to barkscales and mineralscales.
Feathers: SkyWings are able to grow feathers that have the same colour and pattern of specific birds. They typically reflect birds of prey, such as ospreys and eagles, but they sometimes can resemble other birds, such as sparrows. SkyWings hatched at high altitudes with cold climates are more likely to develop this mutation.
Ashscales: Usually the twin to a Firescales. The affected dragonet has a severe lack of fire, typically unable to cough up more than a few weak embers. Affected dragons typically have pale coloration, a stronger sensitivity to cold, a weak immune system, and general weakness. (giveaway only)
Magma Blood: A very rare and deadly form of firescales where the affected dragon is unable to resist their own fire and is burnt to death by it. Affected dragons either die in the egg or are overcome as their fire grows stronger later in life. There is no cure or way to stave it off. (giveaway only)
Controlled Firescales: A specific and rare variant where the user can control the degree of which their firescales reaches. They can never lower it enough to return to normal and if they extend it too high they can burn themselves, which will result in death or serious injury. (giveaway only)
Firework (SkyWing): SkyWings that hatch with this mutation have markings on their scales that resemble fireworks. Their coloring can vary more than other SkyWings, with shades of blue/purple being achievable. In addition, firework SkyWings have firebreath that appears like a sparkler. (giveaway only)
Menora: SkyWings born with this mutation have odd spines and horns; they are tipped with fire, like candles. Nobody is sure where this mutation originated, but it is exceedingly rare. (giveaway only)
