Leafspeak: Leafspeakers may convince plants to grow at an accelerated rate, or in a certain way, or convince the plant to attack a specific target, though they cannot produce them from nothing.
Pollenbreath: These dragons can breathe pollen. Beware those with allergies!
Vinescales: Vines and various plants grow from the scales of these dragons. While pretty, it hinders movement.
Flowereyes: Rather strange, but these dragon's irises look like flowers. It typically makes their vision blurry.
Leafwings: Wings of these dragons are shaped like various leaves.
Thornscales: Gives LeafWings either spines of some sort or functions similar to cactus-scales.
Photosynthesis: Rather than following normal cellular respiration, these LeafWings use photosynthesis. They need little to no food but will become severely ill without water and sunlight.
Succulents: LeafWings with this mutation have large leaves usually along their spines that function as a water reserve, allowing them to survive for long periods without drinking.
Lamb’s ear: LeafWings can have fuzzy ears, like the plant lamb’s ear. The fuzz is typically white/translucent, but it can be shades of green or brown.
Evergreen: LeafWings with this mutation have growths around their body similar in appearance to IceWing ruffs. They are not made of spikes, and serve not much of a defensive purpose. They are comprised of growths of evergreen needles that can appear anywhere on the body. Depending on the severity, LeafWings affected with this may sprout branches and be able to sprout pinecones from them. If sprouted, these branches are painful to remove.
Rainbow Eucalyptus: LeafWings with this rare mutation develop a deep variety of colour in their scales, for an unknown reason. Starting off with a typical LeafWing green, they gain scattered scales of silver, blue, purple, orange, red, burgundy, and deep pink, usually in long streaks along the body. As scales are lost and regained, the colour that grows back may vary. It has been noted in a few rare cases that LeafWings who grow up or move to cooler areas begin to lose their hue, and are more sensitive to colder weather.
Aquatic: These LeafWings have adapted for life in and around water, from either a SeaWing ancestor or some evolutionary quirk. They can hold their breath for up to an hour, similar to MudWings, and are unbothered by brackish or salty water—if they need to drink it, they can.
Weeping Willow: These LeafWings have draping, vine-like growths, often sprouting along the spine and neck. Resembling either palm fronds (or similar long and slender leaved plants) or the branches of a weeping willow, they have little affect, though they must be maintained to avoid damage or pests.
Leaf Fin: The fin of this dragon is replaced by actual leaves that follow the typical course of a leaf's life. Wilting and falling off during fall and winter, budding during spring, and being full grown in summer. (separate shop item)
Barkscales: There are two variants to this mutation. In the first case, a dragon's scales take on the coloration and pattern of a tree (like birch). The second, however, causes the dragon's scales to take on the appearance of trees and they are made out of actual bark. (separate shop item)
Blossom Sickness: This hauntingly beautiful mutation seems like a gift, but in reality is deeply unpleasant for the sufferer—LeafWings experiencing blossom sickness have blooms consistently bursting from their scales, sometimes only in small patches, other times nearly everywhere. Beautiful as it is, the growth of these blossoms is very itchy and uncomfortable, and often leaves patches of missing scales, along with creating drag during flight, sometimes attracting unwanted attention, and draining energy and nutrients from the LeafWing. The condition is certainly manageable, but if left unchecked, can cause serious deficiencies and illness. (separate shop item)
Seasonscales: These dragon's scales change according to the season. (Vibrant green in spring, darker green in summer, brown and red in fall, and white in winter) (giveaway only)
Deathspeak: Instead of Leafspeak, these dragons can only kill plants. It is fast acting and gives the plants a dark, dried look. (giveaway only)
Wreath: The affected LeafWing grows a large mane of greenery and leaves, akin to that of a wreath. Other things may grow from their wreath, such as pinecones, berries, flowers, etc. Depending on its size, it may obscure the dragon’s peripheral vision and need to be trimmed. (giveaway only)
Tree Tail: Branches and leaves sprout from the affected dragon's tail, from the base all the way down to the tip, taking a shape that is similar to a spruce or pine tree. These branches bear round shiny fruit, pinecones, and a star shaped flower that blossoms at the tip of the tail. (giveaway only)
