Pictures of The Cock Inn, Buxton Road. The earliest photograph shows a row of cottages just beyond the pub, where there is now a car park. Members comments state that these were known as "Rosie Bank Cottages" and at one time included a barber's shop. Later demolished, this was the site of Joel Bold's first garage. At one time the pub was known as "The New Cock" to distinuish it from the Jodrell Arms which was formerly "The Cock".

The Goyt Inn, Bridge Street. The early photograph is later than 1914 as the Corn Mill which once stood opposite, has been replaced.

The Navigation, Johnson Street. The pub closed c2009 and has since been converted to housing. This was one of three local pubs with the same name. The Navigation in Bridgemont closed over 100 years ago whilst the Buxworth pub is still thriving.

The White Hart. The earliest picture shows Tom Coward's fleet of taxis and hire vehicles. Another photograph shows the building alongside as an estate agency. This was originally the Co-op drapery department and is now a cycle shop.
