Winding Department

The lady in the middle of the back row is Lucy Jane Jones (nee Bradley) - when married she lived in Bridge Street, Whaley Bridge. Am unsure of the date of the photo though.

This photo looks like it could be 1951-1952 just before I started work there in 1953. The lady with glasses is Mrs Dranfield and young lady at the front is Diane Hall (was Waller)

John Bailey is at the forefront

I believe that the lady on the front row, in the middle, (the lady behind's hands are resting on her shoulders) may be Emma Jones, daughter of the Bridge Street Barber

Left by Brenda Whelan

Back row Lillian Swindles was Hall. Left side Pat White. Jennifer Haughty.

I am quite sure that the lady third from the left, standing, is my auntie. She would have been Margaret Morris and later Margaret Woolley.

by Gillian Martin (nee Allen)

The lady next to my Auntie margaret ( Woolley) is Mabel (sorry cant remember surname , ran the Cubs)
