The White Horse at Horwich End Crossroads. Opened in 1724 and closed in 2017. The building is now likely to be convered into apartments. . George Pearson, whose name appears over the door in one of the pictures, was licensee between 1875 and 1926. Henry Turner had been the first landlord with a tenure of 41 years.
