About me

Blog Entry #1

Hello! My name is Sammy, or Sam, and my pronouns are they/them. I am a sports person, I have played ringuette for as long as I can remember and take my snowboard for a ride every chance I get. I'm from Bécancour, but no worries if you don't know where that is, nobody does! ;) During the spring, I spend most of my time back home to run the family's sugar shack with my brother, having more than 1000 trees. It takes lots of time and organisation, but once you have more syrup and candies than you can eat, it's worth it. Maple syrup has no more secrets for me, which is probably the most Canadian thing about me. I also play some video games in my free time, and read a lot of fiction books. My favorite animals are cows, so be ready to see them all over my page. I am planning on going to l'UQAM or Concordia next year to get my degree to become an English teacher as a second language. I plan to then go teach in either South Korea or the Philippines for a year or two once I am done with my degree. Looking forward to working again with most of you, and to get to know better the people I haven't had the chance of meeting yet.
