Immigration will help connect students to immigrants and refugees within the community. Whether through ESL tutoring, translation services, or connecting immigrants in the community to local resources, this project aims to help people, regardless of their county of origin, acclimate to their new home. Anahí wants to create a space in which people facing immigration-related obstacles in the community can feel accepted and supported regardless of immigration status or background. Anahí looks forward to the possibility of connecting them to resources, spreading awareness to destigmatize immigration, and supporting them in their immigration process through various different kinds of events!
