Why this Project: "Hunger and Homelessness is the best project because its impact is immediate, visible, and deeply human. Providing someone with a meal or a safe space can completely change their day, and in some cases, their outlook on life. This project not only addresses basic needs but also restores dignity and comfort to people who may feel forgotten or overlooked."
Why I love VIP: "I love VIP because of the incredible diversity of volunteer opportunities it offers. There’s truly something for everyone, whether you're interested in hands-on service, advocacy, or behind-the-scenes organizing, VIP gives you a chance to find your place and make a difference. That variety keeps things engaging and allows each volunteer to grow while contributing in meaningful ways. What I love most, though, is seeing the real impact VIP has, not just on the people we serve, but on campus culture and the surrounding community. Every project leaves a footprint of care, compassion, and connection. Being part of that makes me feel like I'm contributing to something bigger than myself."
