Hunger and Homelessness offers a range of volunteer opportunities geared towards providing relief and hope to homeless individuals in our communities. Dennis wants to create consistent opportunities for students to directly support individuals and families experiencing food or housing insecurity. Some events that Dennis wants to organize are food drives, meal-packing events, community meals, donation drives, and volunteer opportunities with local organizations.

Why is my project the best: "Hunger & Homelessness is one of the most impactful projects because it addresses basic needs that every person deserves to have met. Food and housing insecurity can affect anyone, and our project gives students a direct way to make a difference. What makes this project special is that even a small contribution of someone’s time, food, or resources can have an immediate impact on another person’s life."
