Our 2025-26 Executive Board
As President, Stephanie oversees the daily operations of the Executive Board and Project Directors. In addition to leading monthly meetings, she engages with project directors and volunteers to resolve problems and explore creative ways to serve the Champaign-Urbana community. Stephanie also represents VIP in various campus circles. Her vision for VIP is to nurture an inclusive community of student volunteers that will continue to serve well beyond their years as Illini.

Why I love VIP: "I love VIP because I am surrounded by and constantly meeting new people who share the same passion of service. I have met many close friends and made many important connections through VIP, and am forever thankful for all that this club has done for me."
As External Vice-President, Julia performs many of the responsibilities that help VIP run smoothly. She supports our Project Directors by helping coordinate spaces for events and tracking volunteer attendance at their events. She and Evelyn also plan and execute our monthly socials. Her hope for VIP is to provide an environment that allows people to explore their interests while helping the community.

Why I love VIP: "I love the various projects I can be involved in! It’s allowed me to expand my horizons while also helping others. The volunteer community is also so amazing and I love being around them."
As Internal Vice-President, Evelyn works closely with our Project Directors. She conducts monthly evaluations and coordinates the growth and development of the group. She and Julia also work cooperatively to plan monthly socials. Her hope for VIP is to foster a community of dedicated volunteers who create a positive impact in the Champaign-Urbana community.

Why I love VIP: "I love all the people I work with they genuinely are so amazing! I also love seeing the impact we can make on the community and seeing how everyone can use their strengths to make a result everyone is proud of and impactful to them, while still impacting the community! I love how I have been able to grow professionally, organizationally, and overall personally while being a part of this organization and all the opportunity to do so!"
As Treasurer, Jayce handles VIP’s financial operations. He assists the Executive Board and Project Directors in budgeting for their events, as well as completing necessary reimbursements. Jayce also takes an active role in organizing large scale events that involve more intensive planning. His hope for VIP is to reach out to underrepresented populations and increase volunteerism within the community.

Why I love VIP: "I love being a part of VIP because it gives me the opportunity to make meaningful connections both on campus and in the broader community. Through VIP's events and service activities, I’ve been able to make a lasting impact while supporting local organizations and building strong relationships with other students who are passionate about service."
As Engagement Chair, Teddy maintains communication with past VIP members. He is currently creating a seasonal alumni newsletter that will enable volunteers of years past to see the great work being done by today’s volunteers. He additionally coordinates volunteer outreach and collaborations with other RSOs on campus. His hope for VIP is to help alumni stay connected with the organization and to help VIP make a positive impact in the community.

Why I love VIP: "I love VIP because it gives me connections to so many service opportunities in the Champaign Urbana community. Like a lot of other students, I wanted to volunteer and give back but struggled how to reach out and find the right projects to pursue while maintaining my studies. VIP allows for volunteers to pick from a very diverse selection of projects so that volunteering can cater to my strengths and interests while also fostering a sense of community."
As PR Chair, Makaelyn publishes our newsletter, and helps to manage our social media accounts. She regularly attends events to document her experiences from the volunteer perspective. Makaelyn also helps our board members publicize their events throughout campus. Her vision for VIP is to motivate more people around her to be involved in the community, and to share opportunities to volunteer.

When I came to this campus, I was looking for ways to get involved, and VIP has become an essential part of my college experience because of how many ways there are to get involved. I've also met some of my closest friends through VIP, and coudn't be more grateful."
