Our 2025-26 Executive Board
As President, Julia oversees the daily operations of the Executive Board and Project Directors. In addition to leading monthly meetings, she engages with project directors and volunteers to resolve problems and explore creative ways to serve the Champaign-Urbana community. Stephanie also represents VIP in various campus circles.

Why I love VIP: "VIP has been such a big part of my college experience because of they way it has connected me to the CU community. Being a part of VIP, I am able to help in so many areas of the community, and do my part to give back. VIP has also connected me with other amazing students that have become some of my closest friends."
As External Vice-President, Swara performs many of the responsibilities that help VIP run smoothly. She supports our Project Directors by helping coordinate spaces for events and tracking volunteer attendance at their events. She and Lainey also plan and execute our monthly socials.

Why I love VIP: "I have always loved volunteering and having any chance for the opportunity to give back to the community. I love VIP because of all the different project topics they have, making it really easy to explore different interests and being able to make a difference through a number of activities. VIP also gives me the chance to meet new people on campus and work with them."
As Internal Vice-President, Lainey works closely with our Project Directors. She conducts monthly evaluations and coordinates the growth and development of the group. She and Swara also work cooperatively to plan monthly socials.

As PR Chair, Grace publishes our newsletter, and helps to manage our social media accounts. She regularly attends events to document her experiences from the volunteer perspective. Grace also helps our board members publicize their events throughout campus.

Why I love VIP: "I wanted to get more involved on campus so I started going to VIP events. I think it is a great way to help your community while also forming new connections. There are so many projects on VIP that can suit anyone’s interests."

As Treasurer, Jayce handles VIP’s financial operations. He assists the Executive Board and Project Directors in budgeting for their events, as well as completing necessary reimbursements. Jayce also takes an active role in organizing large scale events that involve more intensive planning.
