The Animal Allies project strives to improve the lives of animals in the Champaign-Urbana community. Kaley's vision for this project is to work with other organizations to educate and interact with animals in the community. She hopes to hold events where volunteers craft donations for local shelters, and ones where volunteers can choose to help and work with animals at places like CCHS or cat cafes.

Why Animal Allies?: "My project is the best because we can help individuals who cannot help themselves. Some animals rely on human interaction for survival and by helping in even the smallest way has the opportunity to change their life."
Why I love VIP: "I love VIP because it brings together like-minded individuals to create a positive change to our community. We have so many projects that allow volunteers to choose their area of interest, but also learn more about another pillar of the Champaign-Urbana area."
