The Animal Allies project strives to improve the lives of animals in the Champaign-Urbana community. Meiyan's vision for this project is to make the Animal Allies project fun and accessible. She hopes that all members of VIP, both the devoted and casual volunteers, will be excited about Animal Allies events and feel like they are able to attend. Meiyan aims to keep most events hands-on and engaging and try to keep them on or close to campus so members are able to attend without worrying too much about the commute.
