Health Needs volunteers work with local agencies to promote healthy living in all aspects of everyday life. Amarie's vision for the Health Needs Project is to create programs that educate, empower, and improve the well-being of students and community members. Amarie wants to make health resources more accessible while creating welcoming spaces where people feel comfortable learning about physical, mental, and emotional wellness. While being a Project Director Amarie hopes organize events such as mental health awareness workshops, fitness and wellness activities, health screenings, nutrition and healthy cooking demonstrations, blood drives, stress-relief events during finals, and partnerships with local health organizations.

Why I love VIP: "I love VIP because it brings people from all backgrounds together with a shared purpose of serving others and giving back to the community. It creates opportunities to make a meaningful impact while building connections with people who are passionate about helping others."
Why is my project the best: "I believe the Health Needs Project is one of the most impactful projects because good health is the foundation for success in every area of life. When people have access to health education, wellness resources, and supportive communities, they are better equipped to thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Our project has the opportunity to make a lasting difference by promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being while connecting people with resources they may not otherwise have. Through meaningful service and engaging events, we can improve lives and help create healthier, stronger communities."
