Samithi was inaugurated on 8 May 2011 with inaugural address by the then Registrar JNTUH, Prof.TulasiRam Das (who later became the Vice Chancellor of JNTUK). The annual celebrations commenced unceremoniously on 7 May 2011 as the most sought after presence of a Swamiji of the R.K. Math, Hyd. could not be arranged owing to paucity of time and as the Swamijis were quite engaged with other programs. Senior Manager, HAL, Hyderabad, Sri.Ramana Rao , Sri.Yuva Raju, Faculty member, Aurora Insti. of PG studies, Hyd., Ms.Usha Gayatri, Faculty member MVSR Engg. College and a few faculty of JNTUH H.Q. campus monitored the preliminary level arrangements. The following activities were undertaken with their services.
1. Chalivendram was inaugurated on 7 May 2012 by Sri.Sangameswar, Superintending Engineer (Rtd.) (Panchayat Raj) and Sri.Pullaiah K., Commercial Tax Officer (Rtd.) (Vigilance & Enforcement Cell, BRKR Bldg., Secretariat Road), It provides pot-cooled drinking water to the thirsty people in the hot summer time, especially to the passengers on the road side. The location of the Chalivendram was in front of R.S. Brothers show room, KPHB Main Road Bus Stop. Mobile Chalivendram was stationed there. The facility to the thirsty is planned to be till the onset of Mrigasira kaarthi.
2. Cool butter milk distribution was arranged on 8-12 May 2012. The initial services were rendered by Sri.Subrahmanyam, President, Senior Citizens Forum, Bhagyanagar Colony, Opp. KPHB Colony.
3. Bhojana Prasadam was arranged in the afternoon on 9-12 May 2012.

1-week Summer Camp was held during 27 May - 3 Jun 2012. The classes were held daily during 7.15-9.30 A.M. Session on each day consisted of 3 periods- (1.)"Jyotipadham" Book Study Class (2.) Play Time Class(3.)Music Class. MCA/M.Tech. Faculty from a variety of backgrounds such as Students of School of Information Technology, JNTUH, Ph.D. Scholar/Professor/B.A. Degree holder/ Degree holder in Music from Sri PottiSriRamulu Telugu University and others held the classes.

A DVD show on "Transforming a Low Performance Student to a High Performance Student" was arranged on 7 Jun 2012, the last day of the annual celebrations of the Samiti. The month-long celebrations started on 7 May 2012.
