Programmes Held on the occasion of Gurumaharaj Birth Anniversary Celebrations March 2012
1. Narayanaseva was performed in Bharati Memorial Foundation, Uppal, Hyderabad. Narayana Seva was arranged for 65 sick orphan patients there.
2. In 2nd round, M.Tech.(Bioinformatics) students of School of Information Technology, JNTUH, Kukutpally were taken on field trip to Bharati Memorial Foundation, Uppa towards the theme of selfless service in practice. They interacted enthusiastically with the organizers there to see the asylum for the sick orphans there best served by the organisers and inmates. The students gave Kaara, Sweet and Goodday Biscuit packets for the 65 sick orphans who are best served by the endeavors of Mr.Rajesh, who practices selfless service as propounded by Swami Vivekananda. Further, the students had collected Rs.1000/- and gave the amount as charity for the Foundation.
3. On behalf of the Samiti, Manager, SBH, JNTUH had handed over Rs.10,000/- of Samiti donation to the Bharati Memorial Foundation. He himself collected some old clothes and gave there for the benefit of the inmates and also donated Rs.3000/- himself.
4. In the Senior Citizen's Council, Bhagyanagar Colony, a meeting was organized. The Samiti participated in the function there. The samiti was represented by Sri.Trivikrama Rao Garu, Sri Ramakrishna Seva Samiti, Khammam and Prof.Chandra Sekharaiah K. of the Samiti in KPHB Colony. The Samiti arranged the photograph of Gurumaharaj and Sri Ramakrtishula Vaari Divya Sparsha books, Great Sayings books and some copies of Bhajanaamrutam books and CDs as free distribution.
5. 30 students - 28 High School students, 1 Graduating student and 1 B.Ed. student participated in the essay-writing competition.
26 students from Indo-English High School, Bhagyanagar Colony participated in the essay-writing competition. (12 VIII Std. students, 3 IX Std. students and 8 X Std. students participated in the competition, from English Medium. One IX Std. student and Two X Std. students participated, from Telugu medium.)
2 VIII Std. students from Bhashyam High School, KPHB Colony participated in the competition.
1 B.Com. student from Rishi UBR Degree College for Women, Nizampet participated in the competition.
1 B.Ed. student participated from St. Agnes College of Education, Gundla Pochampally, Medchal, R.R.dist, Hyd.
