Scholarships for Poor and Merit Students

* On the occasion of the annual celebrations 2012 of the Samiti, a scheme of scholarships for poor and meritorious students of S.S.C. and 10+2 std. has been taken up.

* Each student will get Rs.800/- per annum. The proposal is for scholarships for 10 S.S.C. merit students and 10 Intermediate merit students. Some Degree 2nd yr. students could be selected. The proposals were sent to the Heads of Institutions of (1.) ZPHS, Nizampet Road (2.)Z.P.H.S., Kukutpally (3.)Govt. Jr. College, Kukutpally (4.)Govt. Degree College, Kukutpally and some details of deserving poor and merit students were drawn from them.

*Total scholarships budget is estimated to be Rs.16,000/- p.a. @Rs.800/- p.a. per head, @Rs.100/- p.m. for each of the months of Jul 2012-Feb 2013 of the current academic year.

The first month scholarships viz. for Jul 2012 will be disbursed on 8 Jul 2012 at 6.00 P.M.

Though Gurupoornima is actually on 3 Jul 12, to enable the guest speaker and Samiti adviser, Dr.Kamala Jaya Rao, the celebrations time is fixed as 8 Jul 2012 at 6.00-8.00P.M.
