Each day, your Village government is striving for a better community: overcoming financial distress, restoring public trust and improving civic services. Your journey into Rutland comes during a movement that seeks restoration and growth. Though, change doesn't occur overnight, the achievements of our great Village can thus far be easily seen.

Village Council Passes Legislation during November Council Meeting

Mayor Announces Grant for New Gymnasium Doors at Rutland Civic Center

Mayor Tyler M. Eblin and Grants Administrator B.J. Smith-Kreseen announce $5,000 in grant funding awarded by the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio for the installation of new entry doors for the gymnasium at Rutland Civic Center.

The Parks and Recreation Department of the Village of Rutland is seeking Memorial Christmas Trees for display in the Civic Center.


Village Civic Center Used for Recognition of Vietnam Veterans on 50th Anniversary

The Village of Rutland is honored to have provided the facilities to recognize our regions veterans for their acts of bravery and selfless dedicated service in the Vietnam War.
