DIMENSIONS AND RULES

  • 45 feet between bases, 35 feet to pitcher.

  • An inning consists of 3 outs or 5 runs scored.

  • Coach pitches after 5 batters and Pitcher assumes the pitching spot.

  • Pitcher must wear a helmet.

  • Pitchers may start with one foot on the pitching plate.

  • When pitching, Pitcher may leap in the air, land then release the ball as long as they do not establish a second push point also known as a "crop hop".

  • The ball may be in the pitcher's hand or glove while the sign is taken.

  • With the pivot foot in contact with the pitcher's plate, the pitcher is required to pause 2-5 seconds before the pitch.

  • A Pitcher cannot step backwards after the pause.

  • Stealing is allowed after the ball crosses the plate.

  • Stealing of home is not allowed on a wild pitch, passed ball or when the ball is thrown back to the pitcher.

  • If the Catcher makes a play to one of the bases, the ball is considered live and the runner on 3rd may attempt to sccore.

  • Runner on 3rd can not leave the base unless the ball is hit. Runner will be called out for a leadoff.

  • The batter is out on a dropped 3rd strike and the ball is dead.

  • No overthrow rule.
