DIMENSIONS AND BASIC RULES

• Tee Ball is a non-competitive division (score is NOT kept).

• 50 feet between bases.

• Games are played for Two (2) innings (2 turns hitting for each team), but if you can fit in a 3rd in your slotted time you are free to do so.

• Each team will bat their entire lineup per inning.

• First batter hits - runs only to first. Second batter hits - runs only to first and runner on first runs only to second. Third batter hits - runs only to first, runner on first runs only to second and runner on second runs only to third. Etc, etc.

• Last batter will run clear around the bases as will the runner on first (goes to second, third and home), runner on second (goes to third and home). Coach must notify defence of last batter.

• Entire team plays defence. Six (6) players on the infield - Pitcher WITH helmet, first baseman, second baseman, shortstop, third baseman and a player playing just in front of second base. Six (6) players in the outfield - spread out evenly. Swap the 6 players that played outfield the first inning to the infield for the second inning where the Six (6) players that played infield the first inning play outfield the second.

• Defence should attempt to field ball and throw to first base. Outfield should attempt to throw the ball into the infield.
