Biography

Big MacIntosh was born to two wild Pokemon in the wild regions of Sinnoh. His father, Oak, was a Leafeon, and his mother, Willow, was a Sawsbuck, so Mac was born as a hybrid between their lines, an Eevee/Deerling. Mac had a happy childhood alongside his parents, learning all about the forest and the Pokemon that live within it. There were days where stressful situations happened, but Mac and his parents got through those days with smiles on their face. 

As a young'n', Mac had a few friends, but none he was closer to thank Marigold the Stunky and Bongo the Buneary. The three got up to dozens of schemes together, often getting into trouble with their parents. This golden childhood had to end one day, however, and eventually most of Mac's childhood friends had evolved, moved on to different areas of the forest, or found mates and were beginning families of their own. Mac, who always knew he'd be a Leafeon like his dad, tried to do the same. He evolved into a Leafeon/Sawsbuck and set off on his own, bidding a tearful goodbye to his parents. 

Mac was alone for a long time. He tried settling down, finding a nice farm with a lot of Pokemon and living nearby. He even indulged the advances of a nice gal who really liked him. He didn't understand why he didn't feel the same about her, but he figured he just needed time to... get used to it? When she revealed she'd laid an egg and that he was the father, Mac panicked and ran away from the farm, never to return. He wasn't sure what about the situation scared him, but he knew he couldn't stay with her. 

Mac wasn't alone for much longer, however, as while he was happily browsing the trees for tasty leaves a few months later, Mac encountered a crying child. The crying child turned out to be an oddly purple Eevee called Timmy. This was where Mac gained his moniker of "Big Mac", as the tiny Eevee looked up at him in amazement at his size. Timmy needed help, and Mac couldn't resist those big eyes... or the grumble of the kid's tummy. Mac helped Timmy find food, shelter, and the other things a kid needs out in the forest. They traveled together for a few weeks before Timmy finally explained why he was out in the forest to begin with. The pre-teen had lost his dads, and promised to meet up with them at some place called Rocket Hideout. 

Mac had vaguely heard of the place, and was able to navigate them to it quite quickly. Timmy's sad story garnered sympathy from the admins, and Mac was happy to offer his effort in order to keep the kid safe. He settled into his new home in the Hideout with hesitancy at first, but quickly warmed up to the new place. It was odd living underground, but he got used to it. It was worth it to see the little kid thriving so much. 

After a few months, Lil Timmy's dads did indeed arrive, first Salem (with a missing leg that Timmy explained hadn't been missing the last time he'd seen him!), then Lassie. Mac was thanked profusely by the pair, and prepared to remove himself from Timmy's life so that his dads could be his dads again. Timmy, however, refused to release Mac, insisting he was part of the family now. 

During a particularly chaotic series of events where portals were popping up everywhere, Mac found a small white-and-green egg nestled in a bush... having watched it fall through a portal moments before. He quickly retrieved the egg and brought it back to the Hideout, where it later hatched into an Eevee/Shaymin that he named Rose. Mac hesitantly adopted the child, remembering how he'd reacted the last time he'd been faced with an egg. Rose surprised him, however. Or perhaps he surprised himself, by being a much better father than he expected. 

It helped that he had help in the form of Salem and Lassie, who Mac felt himself getting closer to each day. After knowing each-other for several years, Mac finally admitted to himself how he felt about them... AND THEY FELT THE SAME WAY. It was a huge relief for the anxious Leafbuck, and he began to date both of them. 

It was shortly after this event a new member joined their family, that being Ember. A Pokémon that resembled Shinx, but from an alternate timeline where all Pokémon were more primal, Ember adjusted surprisingly quickly to her new home and family, happily accepting them all. Mac got engaged to Salem and Lassie, and later was married to them. 

A couple years after the wedding, Rose had a brief encounter with Fairy Magic. It took combined efforts from the Hideout's resident Mew/Theivul (Artagan), Hoopa (Avkash), and Jirachi (Tamna) to get her back, but she was somewhat changed. Rose now had access to her Sky Forme, and for her, nearly three years had passed, making her 7 instead of the 4 she had been before her accidental adventure.

More years passed, until it'd been nearly eight years since Mac had joined the Hideout. Ember became a Doctor - and a darn good one! Timmy started studying to be a teacher. Rose slowly grew up. Then, one day, a shiny Espeon/Articuno named Crysanthemum (or Chrys for short) showed up with two kids in his shadow. One, Bluebell, became one of Ember's patients due to his health issues. The other, Opal, reminded Mac of someone, a face from long ago he couldn't quite place... but it was probably nothing.
