Pressure Plate Process Pressure Plate Product Lesson 1 Lesson 2 Lesson 3 Fillet Process
Fillet Product Revolve and Sweep Features Revolve and Sweep Product
This lesson focuses on:
Creating base, boss, and cut features from sketches
Adding fillets to smooth edges
Creating a circular pattern
Adding drawing views
Adding centerlines, center marks, and dimensions to the drawing
Sketching the circle
Sketch another circle and make an extruded cut through all.
Added fillets.
This what the Pressure Plate should look like.
Base Extrude 1
Make the sketch for the cylinder and extrude it.
I used the axis to recreate the cylinder. I made 5 more and spaced them evenly around the circle.
I added my initials.
Sketched a smaller circle and then extruded it.
Made an extruded cut in the cylinder.
Added fillets around the cylinders.
This is the drawing for the Pressure Plate.
Using the criteria of the lesson above, I created my Pressure Plate Product.
-I created a base (hexagon)
-Then I extruded it making it 3D
-I also cut my initials into it
-I added fillets to smooth out the edges
-I cut a circle into the middle to give me a center point
-I then cut and made circles around the center using a circular pattern

Adding drawing sheet 2
Inserting a named view
This is a drawing of the product of Lesson 1.
This is a drawing of the product of Lesson 2.
Fillet Lesson Objectives:
Using relations in sketches
Adding draft angles to extruded features
Adding different fillet types
Constant radius
Variable radius
Use a mirroring feature
Applying a library feature
Build the part and fillet them together.
Fillet the center line.
Added more fillets
Add a keyhole.
Mirror the part.
Using the objectives above I created my fillet product.
This is the finished fillet product gif..
Take the part from the process fillet project and added various fillets.
Cut the initials into the product.
Mirror the shape.
Added initials.
Lesson Objectives:
Creating a revolve feature
Creating a sweep feature
Creating an extruded cut feature with a draft angle
Built the frame of the candle stick.
Sketch the handle.
Finished product.
Resized all of the measurements.
Use the sweep feature.
Used the revolve feature.
Cut into the top, for the candle.
Using the objectives above I created my own revolve and sweep project.
This is a gif of my finished project.
I drew my base.
I used the sweep feature and I made a cut into the top.
I used the revolve feature.
I added and cut my initials into my product.
I drew a handle.
