Math Puns

Math can also give rise to puns.

Puns are statements which can be interpreted in two ways; one obvious and another a deeper one.

Here are some examples.

What is 230 - 220 ÷ 2? I say it is 120. But my mathematician friend says 5!. Who is right?

In this pun the exclamation symbol "!" has been used in two senses - one as in language and another one in math.

5! in math is 120.

Not all math puns are terrible. Only sum!
