Membership
We hold two regular monthly meetings at St Teresa’s Club where prospective members may join and existing members meet friends, talk to group leaders and buy tickets for events. The Coffee Morning is
held on the first Thursday of each month; the Speaker Meeting is held on the third Tuesday of each
month. Both meetings start at 9.45am.
Once you become a member you can get in touch with the leader of any group you are interested in
joining and arrange your first session. If you find that a group you’d like to join is full, please let us know.
The membership fee is £12.50 per person for 12 months from April to March. If you join after 1 st January, the membership fee for the remaining three months is £7.50. If you are a member of another u3a the
fee is £9 and £6 respectively. In addition to the membership fee most groups make a small charge, per session, to cover expenses such as rent. If you would prefer to attend a group session before joining, please get in touch by email, we will then send you 2 Taster Cards which will enable you to attend two
groups free of charge. (This does not include attendance at the Speaker Meeting or on trips/ outings).
