Gardening
The Garden group meets meet on the first Wednesday of the month at St Teresa’s from10am -12 noon unless a garden visit is planned.
The aim of the group is to bring together people who enjoy gardens and gardening and provide an opportunity to continue learning about plants and gardening in a friendly and social environment.
In Autumn and Winter we meet in the hall where we have a guest speaker on a variety of garden related topics. It is also an opportunity to meet and chat over coffee/ tea and biscuits. The fee for these speaker meetings is £2.
In Spring and Summer we have a monthly trip, usually by coach, to varied and interesting gardens - some private and others public. (National Trust or RHS etc.)
Details of the trips are sent out by email to members of the Garden group and published
on the monthly newsletter.
